Playback progress is stored only in this browser. No compulsory account.
Optional totals, retained for up to 90 days: player starts, completed episodes, playing seconds and errors. These are site measurements, not YouTube official views. YouTube receives requests when you load its player and provides its own privacy controls.
You can clear local progress or withdraw aggregate measurement at any time. Clearing site data also removes saved shows and progress. YouTube controls its own service data.
